Moses is one unbelievable, perfect Cane Corso! we are often asked: “where did you get his name from?” All we hear is “HOLY MOSES what kind of dog is that?” or “HOLY MOSES he is the most incredible dog ever!”. Yes, these are the comments we hear all the time about Moses. he is one amazing dog! currently living with 3 other dogs and 2 cats, Moe is calm, well socialized, trained, and one of the most loving dogs you will ever meet. he is huge, but that doesn’t stop him from being even the most gentle with the smallest kids he meets or the oldest adults he meets. Moe is the perfect match for any family, but are you the perfect match for Moe?

Can someone explain to me the differences in a male and female cane corsos temperament..attitude wise?

I find Female's to be more protective than males. they get distracted less and are less dominant. A female dog generally will protect the family like that of being a mother protecting her children type thing.

Males are more aggressive towards other dogs

Males can be more territorial, but that pretty much goes for any breed, and quality of training and socialization, as well as good breeding, factors into that as well

they are both great protectors of home and family. believe it or not, in many of the molosser breeds, the females are the ones to watch, temperament wise. Males are often male-dog aggressive and food protective, but females are very territorial.

Which dogs Make Better House Pets Cane Corsos OR Presa Canarios?

Why not go with a bull mastiff? this is a massive animal that will not get itself (& you) into legal trouble. They are known for an even temperament & will get along with everyone, including kids. If it should get loose, it won't run around in attack mode.

Seriously, you need to give up this obsession.

I, personally, prefer Cane Corso's. They are both relatively similar breeds though, so you're left to choose between appearance basically. Cane's are more agile and slightly taller than the Presa and usually weigh over 100 pounds. Presa's are a little shorter and stockier than Cane's, they don't look as elegant and regal, but more boxy and slumpy.
Cane's are also a little easier to train than Presa's. The Cane Corso was use to go to war with the Roman gladiators, so they mind a little better. Presa's are stubborn like all bully breeds and you'll need to spend more time and money training.

I would go with the Cane Corso.

Good strong dogs with excellent guarding ability.

You have already asked this question like 20 times now . Don't get either one
